Boutique Hotels in Downtown Chiang Mai

Staying in downtown Chiang Mai puts the visitor within easy reach of the Ping River, the Night Bazaar and the historic sights and temples of the old town. With plenty of choices for dining and entertainment, downtown Chiang Mai is a good choice if you want to be in the middle of all the action.

D2 Hotel

Our definition of a boutique hotel means that it should have less than 100 rooms to qualify so we shouldn't really be including the D2 hotel on this website. However, the personal service and unique contemporary style means that we're prepared to make an exception for this 5-star hotel located next to the Night Bazaar on Chang Klan Road.

Yaang Come Village

The Yaang Come Village is within easy walking distance (less than 10 minutes) of both the Mae Ping River and the Night Bazaar area. The hotel is also in an excellent location for food lovers being handily placed for the Anusarn Market which has a number of very good Thai restaurants. The Yaang Come is also adjacent to the Whole Earth restaurant which serves vegetarian Indian and Thai dishes and there are two Italian restaurants nearby too.
